Vid Mesarić
Vid Mesarić is an editor and journalist at the Culture and Science Section of Croatian Radio’s News and Information Program and he hosts Katapultura, a magazine for culture at Croatian Radio 1. He worked at Radio 101, served as a correspondent to the Croatian Language Section Program at Deutsche Welle, organized music programs at Zagreb’s Tvornica Kulture, and collaborated with Zarez and Vijenac bi-weekly magazines for culture, Kulturpunkt.hr, etc. He took part in a number of international projects: as a leader of the Croatian team in the radio project “Europe” which was part of the European Broadcasting Union Network, a collaborator on the Hermes Project founded by the European Union and realized through the Internet platform Heritage Radio Network as well as on the Vienna-Weimar-Zagreb radio bridge project. The focus of his work, among other things, lies on cultural policy, non-institutional cultural scene, the preservation of public space and non-profit media. He graduated in comparative literature and English from Zagreb’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
