Križana Brkić
Križana Brkić, who has finished art history and Italian language and literature, has been professionally engaged in the fields of international cultural cooperation and EU funds and programmes in the fields of culture and education for the last 15 years. She worked at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs from 2004 to 2009 on international promotion of Croatian culture, after which she worked at the Ministry of Culture in the Department for the cultural contact point for the 2007 – 2013 EU Culture programme from 2009 to 2012. She has taken part in educational workshops for the cultural sector and local and regional self-government units in Croatia in the fields of cultural projects development and EU financing. She has been working as an independent consultant for cultural public institutions and independent organizations, local self-government units in Croatia and educational institutions in the fields of financing projects from European and other international sources and applying of projects to various international open calls in the fields of culture and education since 2012. As an external expert, she cooperated with the Faculty of Political Science of Zagreb on the Adjustment to the EU: Project Management and Using of EU Funds and Programmes study programme and with the Academy of Drama Art at the University of Zagreb – Production Studies.
Križana Brkić was a member of the second term of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and the vice-president of the Board of Directors from June 2016 to December 2018 when she officially resigned from her position after which was relieved of her duties at her own request by the Croatian Government at its meeting held on February 14, 2019.
